Breaking the Patterns that Keep Us Imprisoned

Belief.
We all have beliefs and we have the choice to choose what we believe. As children, we are told what we are to believe. That choice wasn’t as free to us as many of us have experienced. If you were one of the lucky ones to be able to have been given choice as a child somewhere along the way that choice felt stripped away from you to end up here today. The greatest belief I’ve chosen this year is to “don’t believe yourself and don’t believe anyone else”. This came from the book and teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz, the author of “The Voice of Knowledge”. This was part of the many puzzle pieces I have put together about life as I know it.
Life is as I know it because it’s MY story. Your story looks different than mine in how you came to be the person you are today. I know we can all relate in some way or form, but your thoughts, actions, and experiences are different than mine. Yet, we are still here today. That, to me, proves belief is a real thing! We both believe or believed at some point that we are due for an upgrade and have searched or are searching for ways to do it.
There are many routes to our destination of choice and we must believe we can actually get there.
Here’s a formula for you to understand. Belief + Awareness = Habits. If we believe we can change our patterns and are aware of the patterns we need to change we can then create new habits. That was a bit of a mouthful and brain teaser so be still, contemplate, and understand how your beliefs shape your actions.
Our awareness increases through meditation. While contemplating on our patterns and what we need to change to create new habits, the stillness of meditation reveals the answer.
If we can be more aware just think of all the magic we can create?!

Step 1: Patience with how things unfold and especially with yourself. If you feel like you need clarity on where to start, you might need to make a physical space for it. These essentials are here to help you have a starting point and create a calm, designated space for it.
Step 2: Journaling: If you dream while you sleep or just simply day dream, the revelation of these things are very important to record for your growth and future self. This journal will help prepare you for anything life throws your way. *sneak peek below* This unique way aligns your subconscious (your past self) with your conscious (your present self) so that you feel whole and not split into two directions with conflicting thoughts and actions. *instructions included inside*
Step 3: Asking questions to Higher Source/ Yourself: During mediation ask your Higher Source the questions you would like answered. Here are some links to some soothing, uplifting music to get things flowing and some chill bumps on your skin. Take time to sit still, listen, rest, and drink plenty of water.
